FAQs

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I DO RED LIGHT THERAPY

We recommend red light therapy up to 5x per week for optimal results.  Persons who spend a majority of their time in fluorescent lighting (think hospitals and schools), or not being exposed to natural light often (working night shift or swing shift) may need red light therapy more often than those who are exposed to natural sunlight at least a few hours per day.

HOW LONG IS THE SESSION?

We offer a variety of red-light therapy options ranging from 20-to-60-minutes. 

WHO SHOULD NOT DO RED LIGHT THERAPY?

If you have recent burns, malignant cancers, epilepsy, pregnancy (abdomen only), lupus, hyperthyroidism, or are using photosensitizing medications, you may choose to avoid red light therapy.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

Red light therapy does not work as effectively through clothing, so we recommend wearing your birthday suit of course!  But ultimately, it is up to you and your comfort level.
